Vinturi are delighted as we spotted a Vinturi wine aerator in an episode of the new series of Homeland. Being great fans of the show, we are pleased to see the characters can appreciate a Vinturi like we do.

Obviously, the set designers of the show understand the taste, aroma and elegance a Vinturi brings to the table and in holding this sacred wine drinking knowledge, they really set a sophisticated scene. The Vinturi was spotted in protagonist Sergeant Nicholas Brody office, that’s right he is a wine drinker too.But the baffling thing is that he drinks at work, something none of us knew before.

Do alcohol and the law mix? The question on everybody’s lips is why the boss of the CSI has a Vinturi in his office. I mean drinking at work is not really acceptable, although we all know how stressful his day may be. . The Vinturi is resting on his files in the foreground, which means that the sergeant casually sips wine whilst cracking a strenuous case. Despite this confusion it makes Channel 4’s espionage drama Homeland that much better! Perhaps the production manager placed it there in good humour, who knows.

The British Press review and recommend the best of the best when it comes to wines. If your looking for a bargain or really want to impress your dinner table then it is always worth having a read. Here are some of the acclaimed best wines of this year reviewed by some of the most sophisticated wine drinkers.

Susy Atkin in the Sunday Telegraph recommends both The Ned Marlborough Pinot Grigio 2011 (£7.99 x 2 Majestic) and Villa Maria Private Bin Gewürztraminer 2010/11 (£10.99 Waitrose, Sainsbury) as an alternative from sauvignon blanc.

Victoria Moore in The Telegraph suggests Escarpment The Edge Martinborough Pinot Noir 2011 (£13.99 Waitrose) for a wine that taste breezy and fresh.

Anthony Rose in The Independent reccomends a summery Tesco Finest Vinho Verde (£7.29, Tesco)Fiona Beckett in The Guardian the Susan Balbo Zohar Torrontes (£10.95 Butlers Wine Cellar + independents). OR Spice Trail Rosé, Hungary (£6.49 Ocado) for a wine that apparently compliments an Indian menu.

Terry Kirby in the Independent on Sunday suggest the Cellier des Dauphins Grignan Les Adhemar 2010 (£5 Asda) as highly drinkable and affordable. As well as the Casa Silva Lolol Viognier 2011 (£13.99 Wine Rack) for a taste sensation.

David Williams sings this red praises in The Observer- Extra Special Dão, Portugal 2010 (£6.98, Asda).

Olly Smith in the Mail of Sunday recommends a modern vino- The Descendientes de J Palacios, Petalos 2009 (£16.95 Berry Bros. & Rudd) that is “totally sublime”.

Whatever wine you choose the Vinturi can assure the wine is aerated to perfection. Therefore you get to be your own judge and taste the finest wines.

Vinturi Wine and Spirit Aerator Used in Restaurants

Have you seen a Vinturi Wine Aerator being used in a restaurant or bar?

More and more places are starting to see the benefits of aerating their customers drinks before serving. Not only does it improve the taste and experience but it shows that they have an interest in the quality of drink they are serving, whether it is red wine, white wine or whisky. If a restaurant goes to the effort to aerate your drink you know that they have taken care to select a good wine or spirit and want to show it off as best as possible.

The US have really taken to this trend and a number of restaurant chains and big name eateries are now using the Vinturi aerator range for their customers. There are a few restaurants and bars in the UK that use the Vinturi, especially the red wine aerator. We would like to see more places take up the challenge and show their customers how much they care.
